Introduction to the

BIBLIOPLAN GUIDE

The BiblioPlan Guide is a weekly reading guide for a four-year study of World history, United States history, Church history and Bible. The Guide provides concise, detailed reading assignments for every lesson. With the Guide, you don’t have to spend time planning your history lessons- your lesson plans are already done! The Guide identifies the best history and literature resources for your children to read, and then tells you what readings to assign and when.

There is one Guide for each of BiblioPlan’s four Years of study. Each Guide includes 34 single-page reading plans that correspond with BiblioPlan’s 34-week Companions, Cool History assignment sheets, and Map assignment sheets.

Each of the Guide’s 34 reading pages is divided into 3 columns that outline 3 lessons per week. Each column corresponds to a daily lesson. Each daily lesson provides:
  1. Classtime Reading choices for all age groups to do together;
  2. Age-appropriate literature reading choices for four different ages groups;
  3. Family read-aloud selections; and
  4. Optional fiction and reading resource suggestions

  • Family Read Aloud literature selections that you can read aloud with the entire family. These are chosen for spiritual as well as literary value, and will encourage family discussions about good character and making choices that honor God.
