BiblioPlan incorporates hands-on arts, crafts and activities into its lessons in three ways:
- Through BiblioPlan Cool History assignment sheets, which provide cool hands-on crafts and/or activities with each of their 34 lessons;
- Through BiblioPlan Craft Books, which provide one or more craft or activity suggestions for each of BiblioPlan's 34 weeks of study; and
- Through BiblioPlan Coloring Books, which provide simple figures and scenes from history for younger children to color.
BiblioPlan Craft Books are filled with exciting history-related art activities to accompany your study of history. All of the crafts and activities are inexpensive, simple and fun for all ages. There is one Craft Book for each of BiblioPlan’s four Years. Each Craft Book provides 30 crafts and history-related activities, a year's worth of hands-on history fun that you can easily adapt to ANY history curriculum.
Why should you buy BiblioPlan Craft Books?
Because the weekly crafts and activities outlined in the Craft Books help bring each week’s lesson to life and cement it in the minds of your children. For example:
- If your children hear only once that the Roman words for "sword" and "shield" are gladius and scutum, they might forget these words by the next week. But if they build gladii and scuta of their own to keep, they might remember them forever.
